Rye Beach
Kristin and Chris were married on the front steps of the bride's childhood home–an ode to a family legacy and a celebration of a new one beginning. Weddings at home are always special: every corner, every hall and stair imbued with decades of memory. This celebration incorprated countless heirlooms and personal touches–blooms freshly harvested from mom's garden were used in bouquet, chopstick rests from the bride and groom's first date, framed photos from weddings generations past. Each detail was thoughtfully presented and gave their guests the cozy feeling of being at home, as they were. After the ceremony, guests moved to the garden for intimate cocktails surrounded by mother-of-the-brides prized blossoms. Just as cocktail hour came to a close, stomr clouds barrelled in as guests quickly make there way under the tent, where an intimate dinner and dancing carried the rest of the night.
